Bridgestone Arena Concert Guide: Bags, Accessibility, Parking and Downtown Nashville

Research-based planning. Verify time-sensitive details with the named provider before booking.

Bridgestone Arena is at 501 Broadway, beside Nashville’s central entertainment district. Its location makes walking from a downtown hotel practical for many visitors, but the venue’s security rules are detailed enough that it is worth checking them before you leave the hotel.

Bag rules and entry

Current Bridgestone Arena policy prohibits backpacks and bags larger than 12 × 12 × 6 inches. Bags larger than 6 × 4 × 1.5 inches and up to the venue maximum are subject to X-ray and visual inspection; smaller bags use an express visual-inspection process. Medical and diaper bags are permitted subject to screening. The venue says it does not provide on-site storage for prohibited bags.

Because event policies can change, verify the event page before travel.

Accessibility

Bridgestone publishes accessible-seating and restroom information and provides a sensory room/sensory bags. The venue also publishes service-animal and other accommodation guidance. If you need sign-language interpretation or another event-specific service, contact the venue in advance rather than waiting until show day.

Parking, transit and rideshare

The arena lists downtown parking options including Fifth + Broadway across the street. It also publishes rideshare information and a guest drop-off location on eastbound Broadway between Sixth and Fifth Avenues. Do not assume that a pre-show drop-off point is automatically the post-show pickup point; follow the current venue/app instructions.

WeGo operates downtown bus service, and Route 18 links Nashville International Airport with downtown. Check the live schedule before relying on it for a flight or late show.

Dining and nearby attractions

Bridgestone lists in-arena food and beverage venues, while Assembly Food Hall is across the street. Individual food-hall vendor hours can vary.

If you have an extra afternoon, the Country Music Hall of Fame is close to the arena and currently lists daily 9 a.m.–5 p.m. museum hours, with specified holiday closures. The National Museum of African American Music also publishes regular weekly hours, including later opening at noon on Sunday and Monday. Recheck both official sites before making a timed itinerary.

After the show

If your hotel is downtown, decide before the concert whether you intend to walk, use transit, or request a car. Save the hotel address and check any late-service schedule before entering the arena. Event crowds can change pickup times and walking conditions.
